The McGregor Mercuries basketball team scored 67 points and held the visiting Ogilvie Lions to 56 in the Mercuries non-league triumph on Friday.

The Mercuries now sport a 9-16 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mille Lacs co-op [Isle/Onamia] for a non-league contest on Monday, February 26. McGregor will meet a Huskies team coming off a 84-62 non-league win over Northland (Remer, MN). The Huskies record now stands at 3-22.

The Lions (12-13) will now prepare for their contest against St. John's Prep (Collegeville, MN). The Johnnies enter the A Section 5 contest with a 5-16 record. In their last contest, St. John's Prep was outscored by Math & Science Academy (Woodbury, MN), 79-75, in a non-league contest.
