Central Heights Blue Devils (Nacogdoches, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Tarkington Longhorns (Cleveland, TX), 61-43 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Central Heights upgrades its record to 26-10 on the season. The Blue Devils travel to New Waverly (New Waverly, TX) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 28. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 26-7. New Waverly won 60-58 in their recent non-league bout against East Chambers (Winnie, TX)
