The Centauri Falcons basketball team scored 42 points and restricted the host Montezuma-Cortez Panthers to 33 in the Falcons non-league victory on Saturday.

The Falcons now sport a 15-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Thomas MacLaren School for a non-league contest on Friday, March 1. Centauri will battle a Highlanders team coming off a 95-15 non-league loss to Peyton (Peyton, CO). The Highlanders record now stands at 11-10.

The Panthers (11-10) will now prepare for their contest against Meeker (Meeker, CO). The Cowboys come into the non-league contest with a 10-10 record. In their last contest, Meeker was defeated by Cedaredge (Cedaredge, CO), 48-44, in a non-league contest.
