Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the La Salle Falcons (Milwaukie, OR) and the visiting Sheldon Irish (Eugene, OR), saw La Salle's basketball squad hold off Sheldon by a count of 42-39.

With the victory, La Salle upgrades its record to 16-9 on the campaign.

Next up, the Irish play the Jesuit Crusaders (Portland, OR) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, February 28. Sheldon will attempt to upgrade on its 13-12 season record. The Crusaders come into the challenge with a 18-6 record after their 55-41 non-league win over Beaverton (Beaverton, OR).
