The Mesquite Wildcats (Gilbert, AZ) basketball knocked off the visiting Saguaro Sabercats (Scottsdale, AZ), 54-45 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Wildcats (25-4) will now prepare for their test against Flagstaff (Flagstaff, AZ). The Eagles go into the non-league test with a 26-5 record. In their last test, Flagstaff notched a victory over Flowing Wells (Tucson, AZ), 66-42, in a non-league test.

The Sabercats now own a 17-11 record.
