California High School Softball - Hillcrest sneaks past Citrus Valley

February 24, 2025: Riverside, CA 92503

The Hillcrest Trojans softball team scored 5 runs and held the visiting Citrus Valley Blackhawks to 4 in the Trojans non-league win on Monday.

The Trojans now sport a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Los Osos for a non-league battle on Wednesday, February 26. Hillcrest will confront a Grizzlies team coming off a 4-2 non-league win over Summit (Fontana, CA). The Grizzlies record now stands at 6-2.

With the loss, Citrus Valley moves to 3-4 on the season. The Blackhawks travel to Chino (Chino, CA) to confront the Cowboys in a non-league battle on Tuesday, February 25. The Cowboys come into the battle with a record of 1-0. Chino won 9-8 in their recent non-league battle against Kaiser (Fontana, CA)
