The Southwest DeKalb Panthers baseball team (Decatur, GA), was overwhelmed 8-3 in Saturday's non-league outing with the visiting Lovejoy Wildcats (Lovejoy, GA)

The Wildcats now hold a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they host Tucker for a non-league outing on Wednesday, March 1. Lovejoy will face a Tigers team coming off a 7-5 non-league loss to Stephenson (Stone Mountain, GA). The Tigers record now stands at 1-4.

Next, the Panthers face the Midtown Knights (Atlanta, GA) in a non-league outing, on Monday, February 27. Southwest DeKalb will attempt to advance on its 3-3 season record. The Knights enter the outing with a 2-2 record after their 16-0 non-league loss to Mount Paran Christian (Kennesaw, GA).
