Minnesota High School Basketball - Mankato East holds off Breck
February 25, 2025: Mankato, MN 56001 The Mankato East Cougars basketball team scored 79 points and limited the visiting Breck Mustangs to 77 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Cougars now have a 26-1 record. They play next when they travel to Winona for a non-league game on Friday, February 28. Mankato East will confront a Winhawks team coming off a 76-75 league win over Austin (Austin, MN). The Winhawks record now stands at 4-22.
With the loss, Breck falls to 13-10 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Washburn (Minneapolis, MN) to confront the Millers in a non-league game on Saturday, March 1. The Millers go into the game with a record of 13-12.
