Texas High School Softball - Horizon bounces Anthony
February 25, 2025: El Paso, TX 79928 The Horizon Scorpions softball team scored 15 runs and held the visiting Anthony Wildcats to 0 in the Scorpions non-league win on Tuesday.
The Scorpions now possess a 5-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bowie for a non-league battle on Thursday, February 27. Horizon will confront a Bears team coming off a 19-7 non-league loss to Fabens (Fabens, TX). The Bears record now stands at 7-3.
With the loss, Anthony moves to 1-5 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Chaparral (Chaparral, NM) to confront the Lobos in a non-league battle on Thursday, February 27. The Lobos come into the battle with a record of 2-5. Chaparral lost 19-1 in their recent non-league battle against Gadsden (Anthony, NM)
