In Tuesday's non-league match, the visiting Horizon Scorpions softball team scored a tight 35-28 win over the Austin Panthers.

The Scorpions (2-6) will now prepare for their match against Mountain View (El Paso, TX). The Lobos come into the non-league match with a 1-2 record. In their last match, Mountain View was routed by Andress (El Paso, TX), 15-12, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Panthers battle the Chaparral Lobos (Chaparral, NM) in a non-league match, on Thursday, February 20. Austin will attempt to better on its 5-2 season record. The Lobos come into the match with a 0-3 record after their 12-3 non-league loss to Austin (El Paso, TX).
