Bowie Bears (El Paso, TX) backers left the game pleased Friday as they saw their softball squad nudge the host Austin Panthers (El Paso, TX), 13-11 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Bowie upgrades its record to 6-2 on the year. The Bears host Chaparral (Chaparral, NM) to play the Lobos in a non-league game on Saturday, February 22. The Lobos enter the game with a record of 1-3. Chaparral won 13-8 in their recent non-league game against Austin (El Paso, TX)

The Panthers now own a 5-4 record. They play next when they travel to Young Women's STEAM Research & Preparatory Academy for a non-league game on Saturday, February 22.
