The Austin Panthers (El Paso, TX) softball routed the host Irvin Rockets (El Paso, TX), 14-2 in Friday's league outing.

The Panthers now sport a 9-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Riverside for a 4A Region I District 1 outing on Tuesday, April 1. Austin will encounter a Rangers team coming off a 17-7 non-league loss to Centennial (Las Cruces, NM). The Rangers record now stands at 13-12.
