The Clint Lions overwhelmed the host Austin Panthers softball squad by a count of 32-16 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Lions meet the Santa Teresa Desert Warriors (Santa Teresa, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, March 7. Clint will attempt to upgrade on its 2-11 season record.

The Panthers (6-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Anthony (Anthony, TX). The Wildcats go into the non-league challenge with a 3-6 record. In their last challenge, Anthony was routed by Mountain View (El Paso, TX), 21-17, in a non-league challenge.
