The crowd at Friday's league bout between the Austin Panthers (El Paso, TX) and the host Bowie Bears (El Paso, TX), observed Austin's softball team prevail over Bowie by a tally of 14-3.

The Panthers (8-10) will now prepare for their bout against Young Women's STEAM Research & Preparatory Academy (El Paso, TX). The Warriors go into the 4A Region I District 1 bout with a 2-2 record. In their last bout, Young Women's STEAM Research & Preparatory Academy knocked off Irvin (El Paso, TX), 14-4, in a league bout.
