The Santa Teresa Desert Warriors routed the visiting Bowie Bears softball squad by a count of 19-5 in Saturday's non-league battle.

The Desert Warriors (5-3) will now prepare for their battle against Deming (Deming, NM). The Wildcats go into the non-league battle with a 2-0 record. In their last battle, Deming topped Cobre (Bayard, NM), 17-6, in a non-league battle.

The Bears now sport a 1-6 record. They play next when they travel to Canutillo for a non-league battle on Thursday, March 3.
