Texas High School Softball - Bowie bounces Austin
April 2, 2022: El Paso, TX 79930 The crowd at Saturday's league match between the Bowie Bears (El Paso, TX) and the host Austin Panthers (El Paso, TX), saw Bowie's softball squad achieve victory over Austin by a count of 22-12.
The Bears now sport a 3-13 record. They take the field next when they travel to El Paso for a 5A Region I District 1 match on Wednesday, April 6. Bowie will face a Tigers squad coming off a 14-2 league win over Andress (El Paso, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 14-5.
With the loss, Austin falls to 1-20 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Chapin (El Paso, TX) to face the Huskies in a 5A Region I District 1 match on Wednesday, April 6. The Huskies enter the match with a record of 23-6. Chapin won 22-0 in their recent league match against Jefferson (El Paso, TX)
