Texas High School Softball - Bowie can't hold off Horizon
March 5, 2022: El Paso, TX 79905 The Horizon Scorpions softball team scored 10 runs and limited the host Bowie Bears to 9 in the Scorpions non-league triumph on Saturday.
With the triumph, Horizon moves its record to 7-7 on the year. The Scorpions travel to El Dorado (El Paso, TX) to clash with the Aztecs in a 5A Region I District 2 game on Tuesday, March 8. The Aztecs come into the game with a record of 2-16. El Dorado lost 11-4 in their recent non-league game against Socorro (El Paso, TX)
In their next game, the Bears clash with the Austin Panthers (El Paso, TX) in a 5A Region I District 1 game, on Tuesday, March 8. Bowie will attempt to move on its 1-8 season record. The Panthers come into the game with a 0-13 record after their 17-7 non-league loss to Canutillo (Canutillo, TX).
