West Central Area Knights (Barrett, MN) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Hancock Owls (Hancock, MN), 81-49 in a league bout.

With the victory, West Central Area upgrades its record to 22-3 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Wheaton (Wheaton, MN) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Friday, March 1. The Warriors come into the bout with a record of 10-14. Wheaton lost 82-72 in their recent non-league bout against Barnesville (Barnesville, MN)

Next up, the Owls play the Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa Jaguars (Belgrade, MN) in a A Section 6 bout, on Friday, March 1. Hancock will attempt to upgrade on its 12-15 season record.
