The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Eagle Mountain Knights (Fort Worth, TX) and the visiting Haltom Buffalos (Haltom City, TX), observed Eagle Mountain's softball team get by Haltom by a tally of 9-3.

The Knights (9-4) will now prepare for their contest against Creekview (Carrollton, TX). The Mustangs enter the non-league contest with a 1-6 record. In their last contest, Creekview was routed by Grand Prairie (Grand Prairie, TX), 8-7, in a non-league contest.

The Buffalos now hold a 3-5 record. They play next when they host Richland for a non-league contest on Friday, February 27. Haltom will face a Royals squad coming off a 10-0 non-league win over Celina (Celina, TX). The Royals record now stands at 13-2.
