Kentucky High School Basketball - Nicholas County overwhelmed by Fleming County
The Nicholas County Bluejackets basketball team (Carlisle, KY), was overwhelmed 80-58 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Fleming County Panthers (Flemingsburg, KY)
The Panthers now possess a 4-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bath County for a District 61 battle on Tuesday, March 2. Fleming County will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 67-39 league loss to Rowan County (Morehead, KY). The Wildcats record now stands at 4-10.
The Bluejackets (7-13) will now prepare for their battle against Robertson County (Mt. Olivet, KY). The Black Devils come into the District 38 battle with a 11-4 record. In their last battle, Robertson County trounced Bracken County (Brooksville, KY), 87-57, in a non-league battle.
