Hickory Red Tornadoes (Hickory, NC) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting West Charlotte Lions (Charlotte, NC), 89-64 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Hickory upgrades its record to 28-0 on the campaign. The Red Tornadoes travel to North Lincoln (Lincolnton, NC) to play the Knights in a non-league bout on Friday, March 1. The Knights come into the bout with a record of 22-6. North Lincoln won 78-35 in their recent non-league bout against Franklin (Franklin, NC)
