Hickory Red Tornadoes (Hickory, NC) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Huss Huskies (Gastonia, NC), 70-52 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Hickory upgrades its record to 4-0 on the season. The Red Tornadoes host Newton-Conover (Newton, NC) to clash with the Red Devils in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 12. The Red Devils go into the bout with a record of 3-2. Newton-Conover won 65-36 in their recent non-league bout against Hibriten (Lenoir, NC)

Next up, the Huskies confront the Clover Blue Eagles (Clover, SC) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 9. Huss will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Blue Eagles come into the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 91-46 non-league win over York (York, SC).
