In Thursday's non-league game, the visiting Fossil Ridge Panthers baseball team scored a close 6-1 victory over the McKinney Lions.

The Panthers (3-2) will now prepare for their game against Sachse (Sachse, TX). The Mustangs enter the non-league game with a 4-0 record. In their last game, Sachse held off Frisco (Frisco, TX), 8-4, in a non-league game.
