The Peninsula Panthers baseball team scored 11 runs and held the visiting North Saxons to 4 in the Panthers non-league win on Thursday.

The Panthers now own a 5-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to San Pedro for a non-league test on Thursday, March 6. Peninsula will play a Pirates team coming off a 10-2 non-league loss to Mira Costa (Manhattan Beach, CA). The Pirates record now stands at 2-4.

With the defeat, North drops to 2-4 on the year. The Saxons travel to Mary Star of the Sea (San Pedro, CA) to play the Stars in a non-league test on Saturday, March 1. The Stars go into the test with a record of 2-3. Mary Star of the Sea won 5-4 in their recent non-league test against Roosevelt (Los Angeles, CA)
