California High School Baseball - El Segundo defeats North

In Friday's league game, the visiting El Segundo Eagles baseball team scored a close 8-2 win over the North Saxons.

The Eagles (16-3) will now prepare for their game against Venice (Los Angeles, CA). The Gondoliers go into the non-league game with a 17-1 record. In their last game, Venice nudged North (Torrance, CA), 5-3, in a non-league game.

Next, the Saxons play the Peninsula Panthers (Rolling Hills Estates, CA) in a Pioneer game, on Wednesday, April 23. North will attempt to improve on its 8-13 season record. The Panthers go into the game with a 9-12 record after their 9-0 league win over Wiseburn- Da Vinci (El Segundo, CA).
