The McConnellsburg Spartans basketball team scored 48 points and limited the host Windber Ramblers to 34 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Spartans now possess a 24-1 record. They play next when they travel to North Star for a non-league game on Monday, March 3. McConnellsburg will confront a Cougars team coming off a 51-47 non-league win over Chestnut Ridge (New Paris, PA). The Cougars record now stands at 20-5.

With the loss, Windber falls to 17-8 on the campaign.
