The Windber Ramblers (Windber, PA) basketball toppled the visiting North Star Cougars (Boswell, PA), 63-53 in Friday's league bout.

The Ramblers now possess a 10-4 record. They play next when they host Mercyhurst Prep for a non-league bout on Saturday, January 25. Windber will play a Lakers team coming off a 72-69 league win over Erie First Christian Academy (Erie, PA). The Lakers record now stands at 8-5.

With the loss, North Star falls to 10-4 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Glendale (Flinton, PA) to play the Vikings in a non-league bout on Monday, January 27. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 4-11. Glendale lost 65-38 in their recent league bout against Curwensville (Curwensville, PA)
