Del Rio Rams (Del Rio, TX) followers left the game pleased Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host O'Connor Panthers (Helotes, TX), 5-3 in a non-league match.

With the triumph, Del Rio moves its record to 7-3 on the season. The Rams travel to Coronado (El Paso, TX) to battle the Thunderbirds in a non-league match on Saturday, February 28. The Thunderbirds come into the match with a record of 7-3. Coronado lost 1-0 in their recent non-league game against Sotomayor (San Antonio, TX)

Next, the Panthers play the Sotomayor WILDCATS (San Antonio, TX) in a 6A Region IV District 28 game, on Tuesday, March 3. O'Connor will attempt to improve on its 3-5 season record. The WILDCATS go into the game with a 8-2 record after their 4-3 non-league loss to Boerne-Champion (Boerne, TX).
