The Wesson Cobras softball team scored 19 runs and held the visiting Bogue Chitto Bobcats to 9 in the Cobras non-league win on Friday.

The Cobras now sport a 2-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Amite County for a non-league battle on Monday, March 2. Wesson will confront a Trojans team coming off a 19-0 non-league loss to West Lincoln (Brookhaven, MS). The Trojans record now stands at 0-2.

With the loss, Bogue Chitto drops to 3-7 on the campaign. The Bobcats travel to Enterprise (Brookhaven, MS) to meet the Yellowjackets in a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 28. The Yellowjackets go into the challenge with a record of 1-4. Enterprise lost 15-7 in their recent non-league challenge against Mendenhall (Mendenhall, MS)
