Minnesota High School Basketball - Sauk Rapids-Rice topped by Rocori
February 28, 2023: Cold Spring, MN 56320 The Rocori Spartans basketball team scored 62 points and restricted the visiting Sauk Rapids-Rice Storm to 53 in the Spartans league victory on Tuesday.
The Spartans now sport a 16-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Apollo for a AAA Section 8 contest on Friday, March 3. Rocori will battle a Eagles team coming off a 65-54 non-league loss to Sartell-St. Stephen (Sartell, MN). The Eagles record now stands at 1-19.
The Storm (9-12) will now prepare for their contest against Big Lake (Big Lake, MN). The Hornets come into the non-league contest with a 15-8 record. In their last contest, Big Lake prevailed over Monticello (Monticello, MN), 87-70, in a league contest.
