The Del Valle Conquistadores (El Paso, TX) softball routed the visiting Horizon Scorpions (El Paso, TX), 14-0 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Conquistadores (10-0) will now prepare for their bout against Parkland (El Paso, TX). The Matadors go into the 5A Region I District 2 bout with a 9-6 record.

The Scorpions now possess a 3-2 record. They play next when they travel to San Elizario for a non-league bout on Thursday, March 2. Horizon will confront a Eagles squad coming off a 16-0 non-league win over El Paso Leadership Academy East (El Paso, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 6-3.
