In Friday's league outing, the host Parkland Matadors softball team scored a nice 26-2 win over the Horizon Scorpions.

Coming up next, the Matadors encounter the Ysleta Indians (El Paso, TX) in a 5A Region I District 2 outing, on Saturday, March 25. Parkland will attempt to upgrade on its 12-9 season record. The Indians enter the outing with a 9-10 record after their 13-1 league loss to Hanks (El Paso, TX).

The Scorpions (3-8) will now prepare for their outing against Del Valle (El Paso, TX). The Conquistadores enter the 5A Region I District 2 outing with a 15-3 record. In their last outing, Del Valle ran past Bel Air (El Paso, TX), 17-1, in a league outing.
