The Surry Central Golden Eagles (Dobson, NC) baseball trounced the visiting Alleghany Trojans (Sparta, NC), 13-0 in Friday's non-league challenge.

The Golden Eagles now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host North Stokes for a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 1. Surry Central will clash with a Vikings team coming off a 5-1 non-league loss to McMichael (Mayodan, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 0-1.

With the defeat, Alleghany drops to 1-1 on the year. The Trojans travel to West Wilkes (Millers Creek, NC) to clash with the Blackhawks in a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 1. The Blackhawks go into the challenge with a record of 0-2. West Wilkes lost 21-4 in their recent non-league challenge against Watauga (Boone, NC)
