Indiana High School Basketball - South Newton holds off Attica

The South Newton Rebels basketball team scored 55 points and limited the visiting Attica Red Ramblers to 52 in the Rebels non-league triumph on Friday.

The Rebels now possess a 6-16 record. They play next when they travel to West Central for a non-league game on Tuesday, March 4. South Newton will confront a Trojans team coming off a 58-54 non-league win over Lake Station Edison (Lake Station, IN). The Trojans record now stands at 15-7.

With the loss, Attica falls to 4-16 on the campaign. The Red ramblers host Medora (Medora, IN) to confront the Hornets in a non-league game on Saturday, March 1. The Hornets go into the game with a record of 13-8. Medora lost 87-38 in their recent non-league game against Lanesville (Lanesville, IN)
