In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting North Mecklenburg Vikings basketball team scored a good 69-54 triumph over the Butler Bulldogs.

The Vikings (25-3) will now prepare for their contest against Lake Norman (Mooresville, NC). The Wildcats go into the non-league contest with a 26-1 record. In their last contest, Lake Norman topped Northwest Guilford (Greensboro, NC), 87-41, in a non-league contest.
