The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Morehead Panthers (Eden, NC) and the host Southwest Guilford Cowboys (High Point, NC), observed Morehead's softball team get by Southwest Guilford by a tally of 13-11.

The Panthers (1-1) will now prepare for their bout against Bethany Community (Summerfield, NC). The Wolves go into the non-league bout with a 0-0 record.

In their next game, the Cowboys clash with the Page Pirates (Greensboro, NC) in a Metro 4A bout, on Tuesday, March 4. Southwest Guilford will attempt to advance on its 1-2 season record.
