March 1, 2022: Millen, GA 30442 The Benedictine Cadets (Savannah, GA) baseball trounced the host Jenkins County War Eagles (Millen, GA), 8-1 in Tuesday's non-league contest.
Coming up next, the Cadets encounter the New Hampstead Phoenix (Savannah, GA) in a AAAA Region 3 contest, on Thursday, March 3. Benedictine will attempt to better on its 5-2 season record. The Phoenix come into the contest with a 1-6 record after their 16-0 non-league loss to Glynn Academy (Brunswick, GA).
The War Eagles now sport a 1-6 record. They play next when they travel to Swainsboro for a non-league contest on Wednesday, March 2. Jenkins County will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 9-3 non-league win over Washington County (Sandersville, GA). The Tigers record now stands at 6-1.
