In Friday's non-league outing, the Hickory Red Tornadoes (Hickory, NC) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting North Lincoln Knights (Lincolnton, NC), by a count of 88-46.

In their next game, the Red Tornadoes face the Piedmont Panthers (Monroe, NC) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, March 5. Hickory will attempt to move on its 29-0 season record. The Panthers enter the match with a 20-8 record after their 75-59 non-league win over Freedom (Morganton, NC).
