North Carolina High School Basketball - West Iredell ripped by Hickory
February 9, 2024: Hickory, NC 28601 The Hickory Red Tornadoes basketball team scored 103 points and held the visiting West Iredell Warriors to 51 in the Red Tornadoes league triumph on Friday.
The Red Tornadoes now sport a 22-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Foard for a 3A Western Foothills contest on Tuesday, February 13. Hickory will meet a Tigers team coming off a 87-43 league loss to North Lincoln (Lincolnton, NC). The Tigers record now stands at 5-17.
The Warriors (2-19) will now prepare for their contest against North Lincoln (Lincolnton, NC). The Knights enter the 3A Western Foothills contest with a 17-5 record. In their last contest, North Lincoln triumphed over Foard (Newton, NC), 87-43, in a league contest.
