December 13, 2023: Claremont, NC 28610 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Bunker Hill Bears (Claremont, NC) and the visiting West Iredell Warriors (Statesville, NC), saw Bunker Hill's basketball squad overcome West Iredell by a tally of 63-55.
With the victory, Bunker Hill improves its record to 1-5 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Lincolnton (Lincolnton, NC) to confront the Wolves in a 2A Catawba Valley challenge on Friday, December 15. The Wolves come into the challenge with a record of 6-0. Lincolnton won 65-40 in their recent non-league challenge against Cherryville (Cherryville, NC)
Next up, the Warriors confront the St. Stephens Indians (Hickory, NC) in a 3A Western Foothills challenge, on Wednesday, December 20. West Iredell will attempt to improve on its 1-5 season record. The Indians come into the challenge with a 4-3 record after their 64-44 non-league loss to Maiden (Maiden, NC).
