Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Wilkes Central Eagles (Wilkesboro, NC) and the visiting West Iredell Warriors (Statesville, NC), saw Wilkes Central's basketball squad knock off West Iredell by a tally of 71-61.

With the victory, Wilkes Central improves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Eagles host Starmount (Boonville, NC) to play the Rams in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 1. The Rams come into the challenge with a record of 1-0. Starmount won 45-42 in their recent non-league challenge against West Wilkes (Millers Creek, NC)
