The Community School of Davidson Spartans basketball team scored 56 points and held the visiting Wilkes Central Eagles to 41 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Friday.

The Spartans now sport a 8-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to South Mecklenburg for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 30. Community School of Davidson will battle a Sabres team coming off a 87-60 non-league win over Statesville (Statesville, NC). The Sabres record now stands at 12-0.

The Eagles (8-2) will now prepare for their contest against Statesville (Statesville, NC). The Greyhounds enter the non-league contest with a 2-6 record. In their last contest, Statesville was defeated by South Mecklenburg (Charlotte, NC), 87-60, in a non-league contest.
