With the win, Oconee County moves its record to 3-2 on the campaign. The Warriors host Monroe Area (Monroe, GA) to battle the Purple Hurricanes in a 3A Area 8 bout on Tuesday, March 5. The Purple Hurricanes go into the bout with a record of 4-2. Monroe Area won 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Barrow Arts and Sciences Academy (Winder, GA)
In their next game, the Dragons battle the Flowery Branch Falcons (Flowery Branch, GA) in a 5A Area 8 bout, on Tuesday, March 5. Jefferson will attempt to move on its 3-2 season record. The Falcons go into the bout with a 2-5 record after their 3-2 league loss to Heritage (Conyers, GA).
