In Saturday's non-league test, the Pocahontas County Warriors (Dunmore, WV) basketball squad trounced the host Richwood Lumberjacks (Richwood, WV), by a score of 59-38.

Next, the Warriors clash with the Webster County Highlanders (Upper Glade, WV) in a non-league test, on Monday, March 3. Pocahontas County will attempt to improve on its 7-12 season record. The Highlanders come into the test with a 8-13 record after their 64-60 non-league win over Gilmer County (Glenville, WV).
