The Greenbrier West Cavaliers (Charmco, WV) basketball were winner over the host Pocahontas County Warriors (Dunmore, WV), 62-48 in Thursday's non-league bout.

The Cavaliers now possess a 5-7 record. They play next when they host Montcalm for a Coalfield A bout on Tuesday, February 4. Greenbrier West will play a Generals team coming off a 53-33 non-league win over Maranatha Christian Academy (Princeton, WV). The Generals record now stands at 9-4.

With the loss, Pocahontas County falls to 2-9 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Moorefield (Moorefield, WV) to play the Yellow Jackets in a Potomac Valley A bout on Tuesday, February 4.
