March 1, 2025: Southlake, TX 76092

In Saturday's non-league test, the Brewer Bears (Fort Worth, TX) softball squad overwhelmed the host Southlake Carroll Dragons (Southlake, TX), by a count of 11-5.

Next, the Bears meet the Aledo Bearcats (Aledo, TX) in a 5A Region I District 5 test, on Tuesday, March 4. Brewer will attempt to upgrade on its 8-8 season record. The Bearcats go into the test with a 11-2 record after their 9-0 non-league win over Permian (Odessa, TX).

The Dragons (12-6) will now prepare for their test against Keller (Keller, TX). The Indians go into the 6A Region I District 4 test with a 10-4 record. In their last battle, Keller nipped Barbers Hill (Mt. Belvieu, TX), 12-4, in a non-league battle.
