Louisiana High School Softball - Lutcher tipped by Southside
March 1, 2025: Youngsville, LA Southside Sharks (Youngsville, LA) backers left the game pleased Saturday as they saw their softball squad nudge the visiting Lutcher Bulldogs (Lutcher, LA), 4-2 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Southside upgrades its record to 4-1 on the year. The Sharks host South Terrebonne (Bourg, LA) to play the Gators in a non-league game on Monday, March 3. The Gators enter the game with a record of 1-0.
The Bulldogs now own a 3-3 record. They play next when they travel to Ponchatoula for a non-league game on Wednesday, March 5. Lutcher will play a Green Wave squad coming off a 21-10 non-league win over Albany (Albany, LA). The Green Wave record now stands at 6-2.
