The Fleming County Panthers basketball team scored 89 points and restricted the host Bath County Wildcats to 80 in the Panthers league victory on Tuesday.
The Panthers now sport a 5-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Blazer for a non-league contest on Wednesday, March 3. Fleming County will battle a Tomcats team coming off a 67-57 league win over Boyd County (Ashland, KY). The Tomcats record now stands at 11-4.
The Wildcats (4-12) will now prepare for their bout against Berea (Berea, KY). The Pirates go into the non-league bout with a 4-6 record. In their last bout, Berea topped Bell County (Pineville, KY), 59-58, in a non-league bout.
