Reese Rockets (Reese, MI) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Vassar Vulcans (Vassar, MI), 70-30 in a league bout.

With the victory, Reese upgrades its record to 4-0 on the campaign. The Rockets host Central (Bay City, MI) to play the Wolves in a non-league bout on Thursday, March 4. The Wolves come into the bout with a record of 1-4. Central won 49-41 in their recent league bout against Bay City Western (Auburn, MI)

Next up, the Vulcans play the Unionville-Sebewaing Patriots (Sebewaing, MI) in a Greater Thumb - West bout, on Thursday, March 4. Vassar will attempt to upgrade on its 5-4 season record. The Patriots come into the bout with a 0-6 record after their 53-40 non-league loss to Millington (Millington, MI).
