Texas High School Softball - Lake Creek bounces Klein Forest
March 2, 2024: Houston, TX 77066 Lake Creek Lions (Montgomery, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Klein Forest Eagles (Houston, TX), 15-0 in a non-league match.
The Lions now sport a 16-5 record. They play next when they travel to Montgomery for a 5A Region III District 21 match on Tuesday, March 5. Lake Creek will meet a Bears squad coming off a 20-9 non-league loss to Fort Bend Hightower (Missouri City, TX). The Bears record now stands at 2-4.
With the loss, Klein Forest moves to 2-11 on the season. The Eagles travel to Klein Cain (Houston, TX) to meet the Hurricanes in a 6A Region II District 15 match on Tuesday, March 5. The Hurricanes go into the match with a record of 2-10. Klein Cain lost 3-2 in their recent non-league match against Cy-Fair (Cypress, TX)
